Approximately half of their "acreage" is under cultivation, including 1,300 sq ft of container gardening, where they have integrated a blend of organic edible landscaping, permaculture and bio-intensive gardening methods to maximize productivity.
Last year their amazing garden produced over 1 ton (2,322 lbs) of fruits and vegetables. Current, as for December, the 2002 harvest tally stands ta more than 3,298 pounds. Updates on their progress as available at their bi-weekly journal, yield charts and graphs, and impressive photo gallery. Other projects which has been documented include: a homemade plywood solar oven, a cardboard solar food dryer, a three sisters gardening bed and raising bantam chickens.
